Biking To GOA From Bangalore

Hi guys,
You are here as you might be planning to freak out at goa and you are looking for some info about the same!

No Wonder! Even I did the same when myself and friends had a dream to visit goa by bikes!!
Biking to goa!! Sounds good …

Yes. One fine day,the planning kicked off...deepu (my friend and sisya who is pretty famous in the gang) initiated the discussion and started approaching the guys..

Deepu:
“Hey guys, how about moving to goa from bangalore by bikes..it will be a amazing experience..” (kannada version)

This was the answer..
“Ogo magne, grachara..” (internal thinking) (get lost)

“howda? Goa na? est dina?..etc” (actual answer)

Each one of us were thinking in the lines that, it is impossible! (Remember  IT guys are lazy! “Goa by bike? Why not by train, bus,flight or atleast tourist vehicle? Assuming we have everything (lot of money) in life!)

Finally, Guys started discussing themselves and each one of their decision was based on other’s decision (idea: if he suffers, let me take a chance, or why should I alone take the pain of riding the bike to goa in that heat? Adhuve (that too) 650 Kms)

Guys, who were in josh at that time were nagendra (naina, the big b), deepu (kalavida), myself (known for naughty things..)

...nagendra used to call me almost every day to check whether iam coming or not? (hehehe..this was because, he was my partner in all good and evil things and also my room met in college days)..


Nagendra:
“Anila, bartidya alveno? Kelsa jasti na? egle raja hakbudo..company bitru sari, leave beke beku anta helbudu egle ne,,..sari kano, ninna confirm anta tilkotivi…maribeda kano..confirm kano..confirm kano..bye..

“hehehehhe..he was forcing me to join him for the biking trip without knowing that i was interested and ready..!”

Slowly mails started looping here and there…..Kartik (the only innocent and laziest guy in the gang) gave a reason of backpain and planned to escape from the biking trip..

“No no…we wont leave him” (we decided ourself)
Idea!!…we can hire a car.. “kartik, you can come by car and we will be riding bikes..no problem” ,we said.

Karthik: ”…car…..ok” 
(meaning: no way to escape from these guys and I have to agree..che..)

After a week, finally we 10 guys agreed!!
myself, deepu, nagendra, hemantha (nick name :elava.), phadnis (unofficial scientist and the king of doubts! ),karthik, mukunda, pavan, xyz, manju (lawyer)

Kudka viji and otte dinesha were dropped out as they were too busy with their work..

Now, we started to work on the Complete Plan for the Biking trip

We Started preparing the route plans, food arrangement, transportation and checklists..

Some how the plan became transparent and exhaust!!

According to the plan we would leave Bangalore around 6AM on Saturday the April 6th 2008.
Now, let us come to the point!! Hehehe no hitting the bush…

Saturday morning, we were in a good mood. We guys had some (suffffficient) idli, vada, coffee..etc.etc

“Maga, adna tagondya? Idna pack madudya? Innen tagobeku..addu iddu..alli..illi..gaadi, etc..” acting though much concerned…

Slowly everyone assembled..
Oh! Everyone is fit, wearing helmets, riding glass! Heavy backpacks.
I was astonished!! “R we going to goa or Antartica?”

Dumped the bags, cylinder, extra(extrordinary) luggage into the Car!

Car driver in his mind “ enappa maklu, nan car na local lorry ankonbuttavra? Ing tumbtavre kasa na “ (Please help me to convert this to English version)

Ready for the journey..10..9..8…countdown started..

Divine Voice “hey photo tegiyana kanro”..ya ya ya..smile please Clickkkkk…everyone tried to contrct their big stomach inside just to hide it and with an artificial smile..(he he he  ) yahoo!

Engines started!! Burrrr burr…vroooooom…

we Picked kartik on the way and started to nuggehalli (deepu’s native) with lot of energy..
